This offering represents a once-in-a-generation convergence of technology, fashion, and cultural history: the very first AI-capable smart glasses created through partnerships between Meta, Ray-Ban, and Oakley—the most iconic names in eyewear—alongside one of the rarest early smart-glasses ever produced.  I purchased, all but one of the Meta Ray-Ban's/Oakley directly from Meta/EssilorLuxottica.  As a bonus you also get the unique items that they giving out upon purchase - stickers, pins, bag, and a can.  Also, a one of a kind empty case, that was engraved at the pop-up, META.  

This set includes ALL 3 of the 2nd generation first AI-capable limited edition META RAY-BAN smart glasses, the first and only OAKLEY limited edition release and the rarest of the original Google Glass Explorer Edition XE-C releases.

Purchased at the Meta pop-up on Melrose Avenue at initial release. A striking early colorway from the moment AI glasses entered mainstream culture.Estimated production range: ~2,000 – 6,000 units worldwide.  This is not an official number — but based on relative rarity on resale platforms and the fact that this color wasn’t a core catalog SKU. 

• Meta Ray-Ban Coperni Edition Wayfarer

Limited to 3,600 pieces worldwide. A true fashion-forward collaboration blending Paris runway design with cutting-edge wearable technology.  I purchased this online the day of release.  

• Meta Ray-Ban Scuderia Ferrari Limited Edition
Released exclusively at the 2024 Grand Prix, with only 1,000 units produced. Motorsport heritage meets AI—one of the rarest Meta Ray-Ban editions ever made.  This is the only one not purchased directly from Meta/Ray-Ban, but online. 

• Oakley Meta HSTN – Warm Grey / Prizm 24K Polarized
A performance-driven icon. Oakley’s first AI glasses, merging elite optics with next-generation intelligence.  I purchased this online the day of release.  These units sold out extremely quickly at launch on Oakley’s official site and authorized channels. Oakley did not restock this edition after the initial release window, making this colorway functionally limited and highly sought after among early AI-wearable collectors.
